Redding Electric Utility (REU), has a commitment to the promotion of science and math education and will host the Redding Regional Science Bowl Saturday, February 27th, 2010 on the campus of Simpson University in Redding. REU has hosted the Redding Regional competition for the past several years.

The day consists of tough competition, a lot of fun, and a chance to go to the Nation's Capital. The full day event is conducted by placing student teams with up to five members in head-to-head oral "quiz show" question and answer format type competition. The winning team receives an all expense-paid trip to the National Science Bowl competition in Washington, D.C. The National Science Bowl competition will be held April 29th thru May 4th, 2010.
