On January 5, 2005 Redding Electric Utility Energy Services Manager, Pat Keener presented the hard working students of Redding Christian School with certificates of community service and a $400 check for their senior vacation. 

These students dedicated their Saturday to volunteer to help REU put on the City of Redding's 4th Annual Services and Energy Fair. 

These students arrived at 7:00 a.m., and worked non-stop until the clean up of the event was completed. They carried ice, coordinated children's games, served up snowcones, ran errands, assisted handicap and elderly individuals, all with a smile on their face.  With their help the Energy Fair was quite the success.
